CHAIRMAN
Stewart Brymer

Professor Stewart Brymer: Chairman


A former Senior Partner in one of Scotland's leading law firms, Stewart has a background in commercial leasing law, intellectual property law and general practice with over 30 years' experience in commercial transactions. Currently running his own practice, Stewart Brymer WS, Stewart's main interests are in education and the teaching of law. As well as being a member of various Advisory Groups to the Scottish Law Commission, Stewart is an Honorary Professor at the University of Dundee and is Convenor of the of the Law Society of Scotland's ARTL Implementation Group. Stewart joins Invicta as non-executive Chairman to assist the company develop further.

Mark Cummings

Mark Cummings: Director


From 2005-07, Mark was a Director of one of the UK's leading public affairs consultancies. Prior to that, Mark worked as an in-house political lobbyist for the Association of Scottish Colleges and as a Policy Analyst with the Scottish Executive. Mark holds a BA (Hons) Politics from Stirling University.

Steven Park

Steven Park: Director


A native of the North East of Scotland, Steven has gained vast amounts of knowledge, contacts and working experience of the public affairs environment at Scottish, UK and European level. Having worked in the highly regulated food and drinks industry for a leading UK trade organisation (in both Edinburgh and London) for the last 6 years - latterly representing the seafood industry - Steven is expertly placed to communicate and actively engage with governments, regulators, communities and the media on behalf of Invicta and its clients. Steven is a graduate of Robert Gordon University.

hannah mccarroll

Hannah McCarroll: Business Manager


Hannah originally joined the team at Invicta as PA to Mark Cummings. She graduated from Buckingham Chilterns University in 2001 with an Honours degree in Music Industry Management. Hannah's career began with The Performing Rights Society in London as assistant marketing manager, with particular focus on event management and media relations. Recently appointed as Business Manager for Invicta, Hannah will support the Directors in the day to day running of our business, handling enquiries and building relationships with new and existing clients.

laura maddison

Laura Maddison: Senior Account Manager


Laura joined Invicta from the Scottish Parliament, where she was a senior researcher for the Scottish Conservatives. Whilst there she specialised in Health & Community Care, Social Justice, Sport & Culture, European and Constitutional matters and worked on two elections campaigns. Laura holds a MA (Hons) in American Studies from Edinburgh University and spent an exchange year at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario.

Claire McConnell: Senior Account Manager


Claire joined Invicta from a Strategic Marketing Consultancy where she was involved in the development and execution of marketing strategies with a focus on public relations and communications. During this time she worked closely with clients in a variety of sectors, including; education, arts, retail, property, government, sport and leisure. Claire's previous experience has included PR agency work in London where she worked both in Consumer and Business to Business areas. Claire holds a Joint MA (Hons) Politics and English from the University of Dundee.

kirstanne mcdowall

Kirstanne McDowall: Senior Account Executive


Kirstanne graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2007 with a Joint Honours degree in Sociology and Public Policy. Before joining Invicta as a Research Executive in October 2008, Kirstanne worked as a Graduate Policy Adviser within the Public Policy Unit of HBoS. Working from Edinburgh and London, Kirstanne analysed government policies, monitored media coverage and developed "official positions" for the bank as well as writing briefs for senior HBoS executives. In her spare time Kirstanne enjoys travelling.

caroline white

Caroline White: Account Executive


A former print and broadcast journalist Caroline has worked for local, regional and national newspapers across Scotland. She has also worked as a broadcast journalist for radio stations including Kingdom FM and Talk 107. Caroline joined Invicta from a public relations background where she worked for the BIG Partnership, Crimson Edge PR and Elaine Howie PR.

heather tomlinson

Heather Tomlinson: Design and Campaigns Manager


Heather joined Invicta from a design studio background, where she worked on branding, print and digital media. She was responsible for the brand management of a wide range of businesses, from charity organisations to banking and commercial property clients. Heather's artistic insight will allow Invicta to add real value to our clients' campaigns through an in-house creative service across all media. Heather graduated from the University of Cape Town with an honours degree in fine art and design.

Leah Parker

Leah Parker: Branding and New Media Consultant


A former magazine editor, Leah joins the Invicta team as the New Media and Branding consultant. Leah started her career as a theatre producer and has gone on to work in radio and print journalism, branching out into new media as the world became digital. Leah works closely with the Design and Campaign manager to ensure that Invicta campaigns are well rounded and effective.
