| Conservative | 785 Councillors | (-328) |
| Lib Dem | 289 Councillors | (-190) |
After 128 of 128 councils declared
WALES
| Labour | 576 Councillors | (+231) |
| Plaid Cymru | 158 Councillors | (-41) |
| Conservative | 105 Councillors | (-61) |

They may have failed to elect their Mayor of London, but that comes down to a personality driven contest in the Capital, but Labour were jubilant over the weekend after they saw their numbers of councillors jump by 40% in Wales and 45% in England.
